Goals/Life Update - Day 86/1001
Sep. 25th, 2014 01:54 amAchievement - You can do anything you set your mind to when you have vision, determination, and an endless supply of expendable labor. - Larry Kersten
Like success, failure is many things to many people. With Positive Mental Attitude, failure is a learning experience, a rung on the ladder, a plateau at which to get your thoughts in order and prepare to try again. - W. Clement Stone
Goals Completed: 3
Goals in Progress: 21
The House of a Thousand Projects is hosting three alpacas, helping out a neighbor with overgrazed pastures and a broken fence. Prince, Foo Foo, and Hubert are busily and happily clearing out and fertilizing the lower field.
I have trained Yang-style Short Forms and Qui Qua (#1, #10) this week, and I hope to work on the first part of the traditional iron fan form later this week. Although this week I didn’t meet my minimum weekly goals in mindful eating and good sleeping patterns (#14, #16), I will likely meet my weekly training goal.
Three haiku this month (#19) is proving to be a challenge. The negative things that happened at the Burn are still affecting me to some extent, and I do not have my usual creativity, motivation, or energy.
However, I feel myself improving, and I will be ready to fulfill the role of Priest at a Tantric Puja (#13) in five weeks. I will be fasting (#15) and meditating (#22), and continuing to practice mindful eating and sleeping goals.
