I was glad to get back to training (#01, #10) last week; three hours of class and an hour of iron fan forms have made it clear I need practice. Six weeks without training is … unacceptable.
I have continued my daily meditation practice (#22) into January, and I’m up to three sets each of 30 push-ups and sit-ups (#07, #08). Although not much has yet gotten done on my 101/1001 list, I’m feeling much better about planning and execution of goals, and more organized and prepared. Ol’ Number 3 and the garage have also seen minor organizational improvements.
I’ve gotten a stack of old railroad ties that will soon be a raised bed for the strawberries in the greenhouse. It’s the season for preparing the garden and the greenhouse for spring, and that process has started. I will be pruning back all of the fruit trees, making space and organizing the greenhouse, and clearing back more blackberries.
Tonight I’ll be finishing all of this week’s case notes, reading more of my new spirituality book (#18), continuing better sleeping and eating patterns (#14, #16) and entering some of my haiku (#19) in a local contest.
