Goals/Life Update - Day 220/1001
Feb. 6th, 2015 04:06 pmThe greatest power that a person possesses is the power to choose. - J. Martin Kohe
Goals Completed: 6
Goals in Progress: 24
This week the St. Helens CERT program offered a training presentation (#60) on emergency food preparation, and we learned about survival food and water preparation techniques. We made a healthier, one-day food packet to take home with us. I also got my physical exam (#51) this week, completing that goal. I’m almost down to fighting weight.
Although there was no training again (#01, #10) this week, I’m continuing my daily meditation practice (#22), and I’m up to three sets each of 40 push-ups and sit-ups (#07, #08). I’ve written my monthly haiku (#19), although there’s no word yet how I’ve done in the haiku contest.
I’m still reading my new spirituality book (#18), and I’m scheduled for a free (!) 12-CEU training (#41) in a couple of weeks on problem gambling that will met the requirements for my addiction counselor recertification for this year.
