Goals/Life Update - Day 236/1001
Feb. 22nd, 2015 05:30 pm“There are no extraordinary men, just extraordinary circumstances that ordinary men are forced to deal with.” – Admiral William “Bull” Halsey
Goals Completed: 7
Goals in Progress: 28
The Mt. Hood Railroad train ride (#89) was excellent, and definitely completed that goal. We took the Whiskey River Return trip, and got to see a lot of countryside near Hood River, with a stop for a brewery lunch and two quick geocaches, and then spent a couple of hours in Hood River before heading home.
I’ve started the Firefighter Academy (#67) with First Aid/CPR training (#46), and I am the oldest member of this year’s class. I did win the ‘chocolate syrup award’ for the best self-protection/BSI (Basic Self Isolation) practice; we had to remove medical examination gloves covered in fluids (chocolate syrup) without contaminating ourselves, and I got it right the first time. *smile*
