Goals/Life Update - Day 762/1001
Aug. 1st, 2016 11:52 pm“I still need more healthy rest in order to work my best. My health is the main capital I have and I want to administer it intelligently.”
– Ernest Hemingway
Goals Completed: 24
Goals in Progress: 26
It's been a week of welcome extremes. From freezing in a cold and musty conference room getting my CEUs (#41) to hiking in the heat to the top of Multnomah Falls, to sitting in a cool, dark McMenamin's getting passport stamps (a supplemental goal), to crashing on the BFF's very comfortable couch and catching up a bit, and finally to lazing about in the sun on a camp chair at the Zoo and then dancing madly to Flogging Molly as the sun went down, I'd say that I had a well-lived week.
This week I hope to go on a short roadtrip with Terry to knock out as much of the Oregon History Challenge as possible (#85). Next week I plan to roadtrip by myself, and just go for a week without any real destination (#90). Yes, it would be better on the bike, but the truck carries more camping gear.
I've made progress with my pushups (#7), although I'm dismayed with how few I can do. I bought pushup stands to further rehab my bicep when it's stronger. I'm working on getting more sleep (#16), working through Peaceful Warrior (#17), and making slow progress with the Psychologist licensure process (#39)
