The First April 2019 101/1001 Update
Apr. 11th, 2019 06:45 pmChallenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. – Joshua J. Marine
Goals Completed: 28/108
Goals in Progress: 29
Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: No real progress. *sigh* Maybe tomorrow.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I have completed my goal of mindful eating for 50 weeks. I'm still working on dates for both a sweat lodge ritual and residency at the Zen Monastery. Haiku, now that I'm caught up. *smile*
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I have taken the NREMT cognitive test for licensure. I am pretty sure that I didn't pass, although I get my results maybe tomorrow. The upgrade for the lighting systems onboard Ol' Number 3 is mostly finished. I hope to be testing my temporary, portable system for emergency power as soon as I have a nicer day where I'm actually at the bus. The field hospital onboard Ol' Number 3 has been organized, and more supplies added. Land acquisition is STILL in the functional testing stage; I've gotten an extension for a few more days.
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: No progress. Headed to Texas in a couple of days to support the family.
Hiaku
breathe, slower!
a mindful eating practice
gratitude, thought
Working, studying
pass or fail, waiting -
plans to retake!
Sleeping, self-care
reconnecting, checking in -
my recovery
