101/1001 Update
Mar. 13th, 2020 06:05 pmWhen you show deep empathy toward others, their defensive energy goes down, and positive energy replaces it. That's when you can get more creative in solving problems. - Steven Covey
Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I completed the Fight for Air Stair Climb in my turnouts, completing that goal, and had a wonderful day afterwards. Thank you very much, Faye! *smile*
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: More haiku below.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: No progress.
Base Station/Ol' Number 3: Significant progress was made to excavate the hillside to create the addition where Ol' Number 3 will eventually be parked, but the weather (snow and rain) only gave us one day to work this week. We also completed clearing some downed timber on the hillside to both facilitate an RV Hookup for Ol' Number 3, and to create a place for people to gather/party/sit with a firepit area and with log 'chairs and couches' near a firewood pile, and also a place to split wood with a chopping block. We are still partway through the excavation project to place underground power. The main trenches have been dug, and the conduit placed, but I still want to trench across the driveway, and to the well, and to an RV hookup. My next step is to regravel the driveway, once we've trenched across the driveway. Gravel will arrive this week. The weather and the subsequent excavation has continued to delay clearing the land for fruit tree orchard placement and setting up a garden, as well as a second, better gate system.
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: I was able to get my nipple gauge stretched and pierced, completing that goal.

Fight for Air,
climbing stairs in turnouts-
well-named event
At Base Station,
hard, muddy, long day -
a frog's chorus
the excavator
digs hills of clay;
Mount Stuart!
