101/1001 Update
Jun. 11th, 2020 08:13 pmWe should not give up and we should not allow the problem to defeat us. - A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I pulled a hip flexor pretty badly, and I've lost a few steps in my training. I'm now restarting consecutive pushups and crunches. I'm back to taking long walks in the neighborhood to strengthen my hip and push out the lactic acid buildup, in preparation for running. I will be running the virtual Rugged Maniac race sometime in June, once I can get my training back to speed. Testing my running today, I was able to run slowly for ten of twelve laps, and perform 10 of the 30 reps of the five bodyweight exercises during the run with only some hip/glute pain.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I'm almost finished with On the Warrior's Path by Bolelli. I'm still training mindfulness with my eating patterns and maintaining a 2000-calorie (or less) a day dietary intake.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I am still utilizing the ReadyMan Plan2Survive Program. I have also completed all of the training for my G/A/P in Disaster Health Services, completing a 101 goal. I've attended the structural fire training (a 'Burn to Learn') with the fire department, learned a lot, and kept up my skills. I've registered for another online course called Building Materials, Structural Collapse, and Effects of Fire Suppression, to supplement what I learned on the Burn to Learn.
Base Station/Ol' Number 3: The new gate posts are in, and once they've cured, the gate will be repositioned in a much better spot for overall security. That will also allow the Underground Power Project to proceed (one of the gate posts was attached to a utility pole). Temporary power has been disconnected, and we are actively in the process of permanent power. The shell of the Gate House will be finished on Monday, including sheeting, roofing, and a pad to allow for the installation of the front door.
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: I found two geocaches for the first of the two days I need in June for my Found by Found Date Stats.
