101/1001 Update
Jun. 21st, 2020 09:07 pmBe kind; everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. - John Watson
Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I'm back to regular training of consecutive pushups and crunches. I'm still taking long walks in the neighborhood and restarted my running. I ran the Virtual Rugged Maniac race this weekend, a 5K with five 30-rep bodyweight exercises - I was planning to do a test run and see how I was doing, but I felt good enough to just run the race. *smile* I can do 30 burpees.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I've finished reading Hagakure, and I've started reading The Philosophy of Aikido by Stevens and Budoshoshinshu by Daidoji Yuzan. I'm still training mindfulness with my eating patterns.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I am still utilizing the ReadyMan Plan2Survive Program. I've haven't started the FEMA online course.
Base Station/Ol' Number 3: The shell of the Gate House will be finished Monday, way behind the original timeline. The internet and phone lines for Base Station will be installed this week, and the well/water system will also be started this week.
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: No progress.
There is a lot of family stuff going on, and timelines for getting things ready and getting people relocated safely have been drastically changed. I've had a lot more stress and a lot more expense added to my plate. I will manage, but things will be very tight, and much of my preferences and plans have been significantly altered.
