Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I finished the GoRuck monthly book requirement, The Last Hero: A Life of Henry Aaron by Howard Bryant, a lengthy book less about heroism, and more about defying institutional and systemic racism. I enjoyed this book and learned more than I thought I would. We also finished our third and final 5-mile ruck with the extra weight. I'm about halfway through the additional tasking.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I'm continuing my daily meditation for the month of July. I again formally sat zazen and attended the Dharma Talk in the socially distanced Temple. It's been a tough time for some of my clients, and there has been some poor outcomes.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: The daily driver is still in the shop. The WorkWhorse had her catalytic converter stolen this week, literally on the street. I'm really getting sick of where I'm living with the homeless populations and the increased risk and the thefts and the mess. *sigh*
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I've completed the next StreetMedicine online class, ALS Neonatal Emergencies. The OB/GYN Childbirth class was canceled; I hope it can be rescheduled. I was looking forward to that class.
Base Station/Ol' Number 3: My sister-in-law, nephew, and niece are visiting this week. More stuff has been organized and put away where it belongs.
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: No progress.
