Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: We have finished the third of the four overdue October's 'Chaos' workouts, doing it even quicker than the second workout. We again worked 4 Rounds of 19 Ground to Overhead Thrusters, 19 Front Squats, 19 Push-ups for each arm, one hand on sandbag or ruck at all times, and then 400-meter Rucks. We again used our rucks (for me, 30-lbs.) this round, although this time we skipped the sandbag on the four rucks. We also completed the ruck requirement of a 1-mile Heavy ruck (for me, 45-lbs.). Still left: one more workout and the additional tasking. Also, we still have the workout, the additional tasking, and the ongoing daily rucks for December. I've also signed up for the GoRuck Tribe 2022 'Life has Risk' monthly challenges. I have also participated in three Tai Chi/Qigong classes.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I'm still reading The Art of War by Sun Tzu from my permanent library, and Dropping the Struggle: Seven Ways to Love the Life You Have by Roger Housden, and Final Exam: A Surgeon's Reflections on Mortality by Pauline W. Chen. Once again, I picked up and finished another book: Quirkyalone: A Manifesto for Uncompromising Romantics by Sasha Cagen.
New word: Paucity implies smallness of number or quantity.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I've applied for the Master Gardener training, and gotten an email back stating, "[w]e will inform participants if they are accepted into the 2022 Master Gardener training by January 14, 2021." Forecast models released Dec. 21 by the Portland office of the National Weather Service show a 90% chance that the city gets at least an inch of snow to 11 inches between December 26 and 29. We are checking supplies and gear - just in case.
Base Station/Ol' Number 3: No progress. Black and grey water tanks were emptied in the RV.
Adventure/Doing Stuff: We attended an outside geoevent to see the Christmas lights at Peacock Lane, although it didn't seem to generate any 'Christmas spirit'. Bah, Humbug.
