Goals/Life Update - Day 514/1001
Mar. 3rd, 2013 11:56 pmThe purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit. - Morihei Ueshiba
Goals Completed: 21
Goals in Progress: 27
I'm looking thoughtfully at new goals, as my 'in progress' list has dropped significantly. *smile*
Body: This week I again trained/taught 3 classes at the Seguin dojang. I'm still down to 9 makeup classes owed to myself (#1, #2, #11), but I anticipate a lot more preparation classes as my Cho Dan test is just two months away. Preparation, running, push-ups and sit-ups (#3, #5, #6) will be consuming more of my life. I again did not manage to maintain a minimum sleep regimen this week (#14).
Mind: I have finished the final Bhakti to Shiva, completing a month of Daily Devotional Practice (#38). No major life disruptions to myself or others noted, and I'm overall pretty calm and peaceful. I'm still continuing daily in my meditation practice (#39) for a few more days, but I'll finish that goal this week.
Work: No progress.
Life: I splurged and had a Turtle Bread Pudding this week at a local bakery (#68). I'll be looking at getting the truck serviced very soon (#76), now that there's some finances to pay for that. The Sportster Project is back on the list (#75).
This week on 'Ol Number 3: Reorganization of the library, the main closet, and the bathroom happened this week, allowing us a lot more room to move around.
