Before we left the Hot Springs, I got a call that our visit to Bend had fallen through - so we traveled as far as La Pine, getting in while a severe thunderstorm was building - although it may blow over and miss us. Considering the Newberry Volcanic National Monument in addition to, or instead of, Crater Lake National Park. Either way, we are well staged for both. Found a couple of geocaches for another geocaching day of Finds by Day of Year.
