Since my last update, all of the side yard debris has been burned, and the garden path is in the process of being widened so that the tractor can get in and till up the soil before it freezes. We made a dent in all the cans and bottles to be recycled. Got my truck registered in Oregon, and went to Sauvie Island to the Pumpkin Patch and got pumpkins and vegetables.

On the way back, we found a 4.5/2.5 geocache, a new D/T combination (#96). Also, I’m hosting a geoevent to celebrate another travel bug going to the International Space Station on 11/6. I’m planning on going to the Seattle Decompression as a Ranger in a couple of weeks, as well, and then starting a week-long fast (#12) as soon as it’s over, ending just before the Puja.

We’ve now got consistent internet to the House, so I’ll be catching up on emails that I am way behind in answering, starting tonight. Tomorrow morning I will be calling about my Oregon LPC licensure. Tomorrow afternoon, we’ll be going to the Portland Art Museum to see the Samurai exhibit. I’ve been researching garden preparation and using old tires as part of the process, and starting to pore over seed catalogs and make lists. I’ll start with a dozen free tires, and see how the garden process evolves.

Meditations have been going OK – some grinding and some resistance, mostly about food cravings, money, and being social, but overcome with reminders of who I am and what I do. I’m getting ready to shift back to Bhoga tomorrow. New word: moirologist, defined as a professional mourner -- someone who is hired to cry at a funeral and/or deliver a eulogy.
