Despite battling a low-grade fever and a feeling of apathy, I’ve managed to finish another Red Cross online disasters specialization training (#49), called CBRNE - Ready, Respond. This is a basic level introductory course preparing for and responding to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) events.

I’ve also heard from the Oregon LPC Board, and all of my paperwork has been accepted. I spent the day taking the Oregon state law and rules examination, and tomorrow I’ll send it off with the ‘Initial License Fee’ and I’ll be ready to go to work once it gets scored. I emailed my first client to schedule, and I’ve also emailed a second potential client. Saturday I’ll be signing the contract for my office and hanging certificates. Business cards should arrive tomorrow.
