The Last November 2017 101/1001 Update
Nov. 30th, 2017 09:22 amLet me listen to me and not to them. - Gertrude Stein
Goals Completed: 12
Goals in Progress: 36
I have been continuing to get to the gym more regularly, and working on both strength training (Bench Press!) and getting in some treadmill sprints to recondition my legs for running this winter and spring. I'll likely be going to the gym today. I've not been to Tai Chi in a few weeks due to scheduling, but I'm beginning to look at both hard and soft martial arts schools in Portland.
I've also been keeping up with my daily meditation practice, and finished a book I've been working on for a while. I have also been regulating my food intake much better, continuing to eat less red meat, dairy, and bread, and more vegetables. The Ango continues, and I am continuing to maintain my practice of daily meditation, and I've attended the third of six Five Precepts class, with the fourth class today.
There hasn't been much progress with the Maintenance section.
I'm scheduled for more Red Cross training this weekend for the Zombie section. Ol' Number 3 continues to be organized and is going through a few days of clutter while I finish repacking and updating a couple of Disaster Preparation bags for my vehicles for Winter. I still haven't heard back from the company that offers a solar installation evaluation for Ol' Number 3, and I will follow up again this week.
There also hasn't been much progress on the Travel/Adventure section, although I did attend the Delphinium Quartet performance last night. The four ladies from the Portland Opera Orchestra playing Mozart, Beethoven and Dvorak was a relaxing treat.
