The Next March 2019 101/1001 Update
Mar. 26th, 2019 10:20 pm“Everyone can perform magic, everyone can reach his goals, if he is able to think, if he is able to wait, if he is able to fast.” ― Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha
Goals Completed: 26/108
Goals in Progress: 31
Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: No real progress. I'll be looking at both hard and soft styles of martial art schools this week.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I started fasting on Monday. It's been too long since I've fasted; the first day hit me hard, and I had a headache, the sweats, and rapid purging. At the end of the second day, I'm still bleary, head-achey, and my joints ache. Hopefully, I'll be better tomorrow. I have enquired about both a sweat lodge ritual and residency at the Zen Monastery, and coming up with dates for both.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I have signed up to take the NREMT cognitive test for licensure. No other progress.
Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: I did have a couple of days hiking in and around Florence, and found another of the oldest 50 caches in Oregon.
