Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later. - Og Mandino

Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I am still training for the Fight for Air Climb in my turnouts; I have been doing a lot of manual labor at Base Station and really working my legs and endurance. I'll be ready. I've also bought my registration for the Spartan race this summer.

Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: No progress.

Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: I completed my dental check-up; no cavities!

In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I attended Winter Fire School and completed a Wildland Urban Interface Fire course that gave me some good tools to protect Base Station from another fire. I also attended an EMS Stroke and Cardiology Conference.

Base Station/Ol' Number 3: Ol' Number 3's broken 50' power cord has been fixed and replaced. Base Station has an outside shrine, perfectly placed and protected in a clump of trees with a beautiful winding path. I have started a small herb garden and placed some solar lighting. The illegal dump contents have all been removed and placed in the landfill. We are partway through the excavation project to place underground power, and excavate the hillside to create the addition where Ol' Number 3 will eventually be parked. The trenches have been dug, and the conduit placed - and we are awaiting the PUD inspection. We will resume the project this Thursday. The excavation project has delayed clearing the land for fruit tree orchard placement and setting up a garden, but the excavator will make short work of that project. I'm continuing the organizing and purging, and making space and working on lots of little projects that will make Ol' Number 3 and Base Station more comfortable, including angle grinding the trip hazards on the house pad, creating a firewood stack and a slash pile, cutting down a tree that was in the way of the future driveway, a new better lock on the front gate, and creating a sitting space for a fire pit on the hill above the bus.

Travel/Adventure/Doing Stuff: I hiked the rest of Catherine Creek and Major Creek, another geocaching hike in the Columbia Gorge that added more qualifying caches to the Columbia Gorge Hiking/Geocaching Challenge III. I also found my First Geocaching adventure Lab geocache (FTF!) and found one of the two Found by Found Dates I needed for February (I just missed one - I'll get it next year!). I attempted to get my nipple gauges completed - but the piercer didn't have the right size.

I have also been busy preparing for my office to start seeing clients on March 1st. I've steam-cleaned the provided furniture and started staging books and files for the move.
