101/1001 Update

Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: We're most of the way through S. C. Gwynne’s Empire of the Summer Moon, May's required reading. No other progress due to my hamstring injury. We still have March's bonus WOD and April's WOD to complete, and all of May's GoRuck 'Reverence' Challenge tasks, except for one of the two 5-mile Heavy Rucks (45-lb. ruck), and all of June's 'Dare' Challenge, except for one of the 4-mile Rucks (35-lb. ruck). My bodyweight training is still paused for a few weeks or so. *sigh* I'm working in some gentle movement daily and 2 sets of 25 grippers every work day, and I was able to train three slightly modified Yang Style Tai Chi/QiGong classes, but it's still bruised and sore.
I was supposed to run (most likely walk slowly) the Foam Glow this weekend, but we got an email stating "[w]e regret to inform you that due to the neighboring areas around the venue's noise ordinances we are unable to hold our Foam Glow Run in Portland". Probably just as well - I'm in no shape to walk that far right now.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I'm still reading The Chinese Martial Code: The Art of War by Sun Tzu, The Precepts of War by Sima Rangju, and Wu Zi on the Art of War by A. L. Sadler. I had arisen early one day, so I 'sat' virtual Zazen by live stream with the Sangha at Great Vow Monastery.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: The daily driver is still at the mechanic's garage for her off-road lighting, and some header/exhaust valve replacement. I've attended a 1-CEU online seminar called, The Gut-Brain Addiction Connection: The Role of Digestion and our Microbiome in Mental Health and Addiction.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: I worked a 9-hour shift at the station, unexpectedly finding out that we were to spend most of the day at the local park for a car show, called "Pie in The Park" - and we got to be the judges for all of the pies for the pie contest! I spent most of the day when not at the park relearning Medic 482's gear placement, and I also completed a 2-hour video on the ASHER (Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response) training program to prepare to respond to and mitigate life-threatening injuries in a hostile related environment - this is not in place yet in Columbia County, but it soon will be.
Base Station/Ol' Number3: The wood hardener, varnish, and urethane had arrived, and we are waiting for the Fu Dogs to finish drying. We'll need more wood hardener, but progress was made.
Adventure/Doing Stuff: We went to another outdoor concert, with Earth Wind & Fire opening for Santana. A good evening (we were masked when we needed to, but well away from others most of the time). Santana did not sing his own songs, using other singers for vocals, but he played with his usual mastery.
