101/1001 Update

Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: My hamstring injury is mostly recovered; there's still some tightness and weakness, but not much. We finished the April's Goruck “Piestewa” WOD, 6 Rounds of a 400m Ruck and 7 'Double Push-Up' Get Ups with Ruck On (35-lb. Ruck) while holding water in our mouths throughout the entire workout. This WOD was a bit challenging due to my hamstrings supporting my stability on the pushups, my pneumonia vaccine shot the day of the workout, and of course, seasonal allergies, but it's done and the patch slapped on my ruck. The Suck was Embraced.
We still have March's bonus WOD and all of May's GoRuck 'Reverence' Challenge tasks, except for one of the two 5-mile Heavy Rucks (45-lb. ruck) and the required reading, and all of June's 'Dare' Challenge, except for one of the 4-mile Rucks (35-lb. ruck). We haven't even started July's GoRuck 'Revolt' Challenge tasks. I'm slowly working back up to a set of 30 pushups daily and 3 sets of 25 grippers every work day, and I was able to train in three Yang Style Tai Chi/Qigong classes again this week without modifying my form, and I'll soon be starting/relearning the Yang staff form.
I was the Captain of our team for the Rugged Maniac race this past weekend. I did pass on a few obstacles and stretched my hamstring the wrong way on one obstacle I completed - but we all did well on the course. We have the Bubble Run in a few weeks.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I'm still reading The Chinese Martial Code: The Art of War by Sun Tzu, The Precepts of War by Sima Rangju, and Wu Zi on the Art of War by A. L. Sadler. I'm working on getting more sleep.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: The Whorse is being rehabilitated/repaired/resupplied for duty at Burning Man this year. I did get my follow-up pneumonia vaccine.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: No progress. I spent 17 hours at the station, all day on the Fourth of July. I was in my Class B's for the Parade, assigned to HB481, tossing candy to the children along the route. We set and maintained the perimeter for a LifeFlight demonstration, and I spent some time with the Flight Paramedic going over her first-out gear. We responded to calls all day and staged in the late afternoon for the city fireworks presentation. I was on the nozzle for that, and we saw the fireworks display about 300 feet from ground zero. On the way back to the station, we got reports of a dumpster fire in the park - and I was also the firefighter who put that out. I filled out an ICS 214 form for the whole day and earned 2 hours of incident Command training toward my Firefighter certification.
Base Station/Ol' Number3: More wood hardener has been applied, and more ordered, for the Fu Dogs.
Adventure/Doing Stuff: We saw Everything Everywhere All at Once, a great movie. This weekend, we visited Faye's family in Myrtle Creek - and then we went on a long, 1000-mile plus road trip all over Southeast Oregon to find five different Delorme Challenge squares, as well as a few Oldie Virtual caches, and a couple of caches of opportunity, for a total of only ten geocaches. I have only one open Delorme square left, in the northeast corner of the state.
