I passed. I'm now 6th kyu, upper purple belt. I hurt the same knee as before with all of the training I've been doing weakening it, and too much weight on my back stances, tonight. But, I passed.
You did great. I must say your form has much improved this year :). It was alot of fun to watch. So, now after watching you and their friends go through a promotion, I have successfully implanted my two boys with the Karate-itch *grins*... you will have a couple more boys to teach in the kid's class soon.
As for me, I've realized I would love to get into the dojo, but I won't be for a few years yet. Not til Cerri and Erik can start training too. It is not fair of me to be at work all day, with them in daycare, and then have them with a sitter 3 or 4 evenings a week so I can go to the dojo and train... on top of getting back into college classes 1-2 nights a week to finish the degree. They need mommy, more than mommy needs karate. So, I'll go back to the dojo in about 2-3 years when College is done, and Erik is old enough to go with me. But no reason not to start the boys now. :)
