Today: Walked my two miles, pushups/situps (yes, Sensei Dena, it's swimsuit season), acquired a library card (had to ride to Oxford as the Public Library in Creedmoor is being renovated), got a set of shelves for my altar/stuff, got Growler fixed (headlamp and turn signal) and legal (mandatory safety inspections are required each year for every vehicle registered in NC). I went to a old dark Harley shop called Ancient Iron Cycle---the only Jap bike in the place--and also bought a memorial CD for a deceased biker named Red Cole, to help pay for his funeral expenses. Roland, the guy who fixed my bike, said, "Son, that your only transportation? What happens when it rains?" (It's rainy here today.) I said, "I get wet."

Tonight, I'm going back to Ancient Iron. For Biker Church. Yep, that's right. Biker Church. I CANNOT miss that.

There is nothing quite like getting your personal altar all set up. It's like when that is done, you can officially say you are settled.
