grim23 | Quick Update

Well. Growler's ready to come out of the shop, with all of her dry-rot cancer gone and replaced. No coincidence that a certain Warrior I know has also finished cancer treatment, on the same day, who rode the same style of bike. My tantric assignments continue, and I believe I've finished my last assignment, and I'm working on the next. I seem to keep changing further and further away from my own expectations, and the rhythm of the Universe seems to be helping me as I need less and less to do more and more.

Next week is the last week of my rotation on Geropsychiatry. My UNC rotation will be changing as well, but just the days I’m there – I’m going from two days a week down to 1.5. I'm better and faster at writing, scoring, testing, interviewing, and suggesting testing that measures the specific traits and states my patient needs to heal, and figuring out how to work with those strengths and deficits so they can indeed heal. I'm going to Adult Rehabilitation, working with adults who have a chronically mentally ill diagnosis, and I will have a new learning curve to look forward to embracing.
