Since the 3rd, I've been spending a great deal of time in daily meditation working on trust, which actually has also involved service, both to me and to others. This week, I have learned about service, taught service, and am considering people for a part-time service position - a position of trust in my life. It's more than just a bit of work. I notice that I've needed more sleep. However, when I'm awake, I've been more energized, and I'm chewing up my list of things to do in my dayplanner, and covering everything they throw at me on the Unit. I'm applying to a post-doc in Pullman, WA (WSU) for a cognitive and traumatic brain injury position. I've filed my taxes, updated my CV, and finally worked on the last revisions of my dissertation. Oh, and I've managed to intensify my physical training. This is good, as I have a belt promotion test in 12 days. And then, I'll be back in Oregon for a few days for the Beltane festival, checking on Phaedrus and reconnecting with a few people, especially Tam.

I seem more in tune with the rhythm of things, and my energy level continues to rise.

I slept and dreamt that life was joy...
I woke and found that life is service...
I acted and found that service is joy.
