grim23I know I wrote I wouldn't post for a few weeks. That circumstance, as have many in my life, has changed. My training and my life have helped me painfully find the energy I've been draining.
Today a student of Budo wished me 'Gambatte'. Literally translated it means, "persevere, never give up." While we've gotten used to wishing people "good luck" here in the United States, in Japan they say, "Gambatte." This word tells us that opportunity is not about luck, but about effort, diligence, and perseverance.
I know that there are people who are hurting right now who might read this. There's people with worries about cancer, people with chronic and acute medical conditions, people with financial problems, people who think of themselves as worthless and hopeless, people who are hurting emotionally and mentally.
That's why I'm posting this. For them, and for me. Gambatte!
Now, back to training.
