Jul. 23rd, 2007 02:19 pmThis weekend I completed my last Tang Soo Do promotion test with a very painful knee that I manage to damage just at the start of the test. My line drills passed, but the pain distracted me from my best performance on my first form, and I had to work harder with my one-step sparring. My hapkido techniques were acceptable, and my break (a jump front kick) was effective. Although I have enjoyed Tang Soo Do, I believe that a more regular traditional and Japanese style would be more useful.
