grim23I’ve been living in Portland in a place with 3, 5, and 7 steps resembling the middle chamber of the Temple of King Solomon, going through and gifting and trading my stuff, paring down for moving light to who-knows-where. I plan to be left with tools, clothes, and a motorcycle, all of which fits in my truck and a small living space, by Yule. Motorcycle parts, shop drawers, armour, books, clothes, and dust-collectors – all must go, and are going. The piles of boxes and memories, as well as that which no longer serves, is getting smaller every time I leave the Temple. I no longer have 5 Swords.
When I am not paring down boxes of things, I’m in Salem, going to trainings and seeing clients, writing up evaluations, and conducting psychotherapy. I’m perhaps less busy than I’d like, but my caseload is picking up – I’ll soon have a busy practice. I’m taking everyone that looks like an appropriate referral, and doing useful work.
Spent an enjoyable evening with TigressSky and Fwap at Lucero, a calmer show, and had a great breakfast. We’re even on shots. I’m spending the weekend with an Uchideshi, hitting a Wetleather party, and doing a lot of talking and meditation, avoiding the traditional midlife crisis. Let Samhain come.
