Life/Goals Update
Jul. 2nd, 2011 05:35 amCompleted: 48/110
In progress: 23
Up early this Saturday morning. I've completed my goal of 1111 found geocaches (#111) this week, and I'm glad to see movement on my list. Time for a more lengthy update.
This week I've trained twice on Tuesday, and twice on Friday, as well as another stretching/conditioning class, getting ready for my next proficiency test. My new form is a softer form, about pushing and redirecting energy. This form, as well as my previous two forms, and all of my self defense techniques, will be added to the usual testing. The dojang will be closed this weekend, and I still have about 8 classes to complete in the next two weeks.
Speaking of training, I recently learned about a Black Rock City Kwoon (Dojo), and I will likely participate in both the teaching and learning process (#51) this year. This has helped shift my decision about going to the Burn (#42). I've committed this year to my usual ESD shifts, and two shifts as a Green Dot Ranger, but I pheel I'll find what I need this year serving the Kwoon.
I've had an enlightening conversation with Sienna (#13), and there's been some work that I've been not doing that needs to be getting done. Things that I used to do regularly have been dormant, and I am surprised at how they've dropped off. *sigh* I've got some work to do.
