Goals/Life Update - Day 130/1001
Feb. 12th, 2012 06:15 pmGoals Completed: 4
Goals in Progress: 23
Body: Trained again (#1) this week only three times, again including a Dan prep class (#2). Added to my pushups (#5) limit. Started a new running (#3) route this week, with moderate to severe hillwork, with a nice 2.2 mile base run - a shorter run, but a much harder workout.
Mind: Still reading Ralston's Cheng Hsin: The Principles of Effortless Power (#32). Attended a Landing Zone Safety Training Class (#40), and learned about the operations of preparing and coordinating a helicopter landing zone for emergency medical transports, as well as a bonus demonstration of working with search and rescue dogs. Starting and researching 50 We Are What We Do actions (#37).
Work: Still cutting down and controlling my work email (#50). Continuing a fourth day of seeing clients.
Life: Exceeded the Throw Out 50 Things Challenge (#94). Didn't volunteer again this week, other than attending the CERT (#91) training, which counts as a volunteer opportunity (#77). Decided it was more important to support Steph, who had some major dental work done. Got my own dental examination and cleaning done (#84). Tried a new food (#68) - Neua Yang Nam Tok, a Thai spicy beef dish. I will likely be getting the truck serviced this week (#76), and I'm looking forward to seeing the Chinese jade exhibit at the San Antonio Museum of Art this weekend (#87).
Steph and I are pretty well settled, although the bike and 'Ol Number 3 haven't been moved yet. No apparent change with the family. May get the bike on Tuesday, depending on weather and timing.
