So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable. - Christopher Reeve

Spent a couple of days on the couch with the rain coming down inside, going through the 20 online modules of the Red Cross ReadyRN training. The training included everything from medical triage, disaster management, chemical and biological decontamination and treatment basics, environmental and industrial disasters, and physiological and psychosocial effects of a mass casualty incident. I strongly recommend this free online training, just for the knowledge. I’ll be attending my volunteer orientation with the Red Cross Chapter in a couple of weeks, and I’d like to get as much Disaster Response training (#49) completed towards my specialization before then.
