Goals/Life Update - Day 911/1001
Apr. 2nd, 2014 09:19 pmGo confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler. - Henry David Thoreau
Goals Completed: 37
Goals in Progress: 25
I replanted more beans in planters (fava beans and lima beans), and organized more of the greenhouse in the process. I’ve also planted chocolate mint in the herb garden. I spent most of today working on building and extending the irrigation ditch to the lower field, and I’ve made progress to the point that the edge of the lower field is getting the runoff. I also rerouted the lower field garden path to a less slippery and safer path that will also erode the hill a bit less.
I hosted an April Fool’s geocaching event (#96), and attended the monthly CERT meeting afterwards. The geoevent seemed to be a success, with 25-30 people of all ages, and including two gentlemen on vacation from Norway.
As a result of my friend’s dare, I’ve now done two days (in the last three) of sit-ups and crunches (#5, #6), all in sets of 25. I’m way behind in terms of the fitness level I’m used to, but I’m working on it. I didn’t do any pushups or situps today - I dug a ditch for most of the day, instead. *smile*
I followed up with the Addiction Counselor Certification Board of Oregon, and they’d already issued my certificate and credentials by the time I’d called. The certificate should arrive in the mail this week. Once I get the certificate, I’ll be eligible for national credentials.
