Goals/Life Update - Day 137/1001
Nov. 15th, 2014 04:47 pm"It isn’t what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about." ~ Dale Carnegie
Goals Completed: 3
Goals in Progress: 22
I’ve only attended one hour of training (#1, #10) this week, mostly basic forms, because of the inclement weather. I hope to make that up this upcoming week. I am continuing a meditation practice (#22). I’m reading Castaneda (#17). Monday I have two days of suicide intervention training, for 12 CEUs, that will exceed what I need for my yearly certification requirements (#41).
I have managed to get my truck back in the garage for the winter, but there isn’t a lot of space for anything else, or to actually work in the garage, although I did manage to do some work on the radiator. I have begun some minor organization on Ol’ Number 3 (#69), although she’s far from a 30-minute deployment. I have continued to move into my home office space, which I have named the Command Center. The previous home office space was ‘half of the kitchen table’.
There have been some issues with Steph’s health, and my motivation and drive to push forward and work on tasks has been curtailed by that, and by other factors. Small steps now will lead to bigger progress.
