Goals/Life Update - Day 593/1001
Feb. 14th, 2016 04:56 pmYour life is short. You have no clue when this ride will end. Stay present and live fearlessly.

Goals Completed: 16
Goals in Progress: 27
So much has happened since my last update. *smile* Most of my personal life has changed.
First, I went to England, Ireland, and Scotland (#97, #98) for ten days, completing two travel goals. I visited Downes, the Buller Estate, in Crediton. I also rode a double-decker bus in Brighton and I saw the Aurora Borealis in Thurso, Scotland (both supplemental goals), although the Aurora was fairly indistinct due to a fog bank. I found the oldest geocaches in both Europe and in England (#84), as well as a lot of other amazing sights and experiences. I did a lot of driving, under rather extreme weather conditions (snow in Scotland, rain in England), and I was regularly afraid I was going to have an accident, but I didn’t. That completed another goal (#35). Full trip report later.
Since I’ve been back, I’ve restarted training (#01,#10) and continuing to eat more mindfully (#14) and written February’s haiku (#19). Before I left, I completed a FEMA online course (#59), and made significant progress with organizing #3 for deployment (#69).
There are other changes off-list, too. Steph and I have been transitioning from lovers to partners to friends/roommates, and she wants to pursue other lifepaths. I’m looking to transition eventually to Portland to reduce the commute and focus more on my life goals. There are many changes on the horizon.
