Goals/Life Update - Day 845/1001
Oct. 23rd, 2016 12:20 pmDon't be upset by the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do. - Orebela Gbenga
Goals Completed: 25
Goals in Progress: 25
So, I’ve been busy doing stuff and not so busy posting. *smile* I’ve noticed that as Fall comes on, I’ve started to nest more and turn my thoughts and actions to more indoor activities. I expect I’ll get a lot more reading and studying done (#17, #18, #59), and put a lot more focus on working out indoors and less on hikes and camping (#92), although I did get a lot of geocaching goals completed and progress made on those I couldn’t finish (#84, #85).
I’m still training both the basic and advanced Tai Chi classes (#01, #10) and still puttering around Ol’ Number 3, making more and more space as more and more stuff goes out elsewhere. I’m still planning on engaging in my yearly fast (#15), probably about Samhain, and working it around parties and social events.
I’m being pulled to run the 2016 Spartan, and that’ll mean joining a gym and working hard on rehab for my torn bicep, and lots of pushups and situps and bicycling and running (#5, #6, #7, #8, #9). I have a return dental appointment in November and another follow-up physical scheduled in December (#50, #51).
Haiku (#19):
two late honking geese seasons keep turning,
In formation, a reminder Summer clothes are put away,
Fall is raining down jackets and sweaters
waking in darkness,
rain drumming on the bus roof,
warmth hard to leave
