101/1001 Update

Body/Martial Arts/Physical Improvement/Testing Myself: I trained in one Qi Gong/Yang Tai Chi class and one Shaolin Kung-Fu this last week. I continue practicing improvements and clarifications with the Yang Staff Form, and I've made a little progress.
January's GoRuck 'Create' challenges have dropped, and are ongoing. The rucking/additional challenge requirements were to ruck outside for 45 minutes daily and the workout turned out to be to do 75 pushups daily. The book of the month is The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin, and it has been ordered and received. The F*CK is 75 pushups, for time. The challenge tasks will take some planning, especially with a 7-day juice fast, but it is manageable. So far, so good. On Day 7, and Day 4 of my fast, I've managed the ruck and the pushups daily, except for Day 1 of my fast when I did no pushups - but I had them made up on Day 2.
Mind/Spirit/Centering/Health: I'm still reading Hope Dies Last: Keeping the Faith in Difficult Times by Studs Terkel, and Your Brain on Food: How Chemicals Control Your Thoughts and Feelings by Gary L. Wenk. I've also started the Alex Fletcher series by Steven Konkoly, The Method of Zen by Eugen Herrigel, and Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind: Informal Talks on Zen Meditation and Practice by Shunryu Suzuki. I'm focused on finishing rereading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig.
I started a (makeup for 2023) 7-day fast on January 4th, and my body was apparently ready to purge and detox, starting the first day. The headache, the lack of energy, and the emptying of my digestive system usually starts the second day, but not this year. After Day 3, I've started to get my usual energy back.
Maintenance/Shit Got To Be Done: No progress.
In Case of Zombies/Disaster Preparation: No progress. I checked, recharged, restocked, and repacked the Disaster Preparation bags at the Hideaway.
Base Station/Ol' Number 3: We repaired the camera system and added a battery backup on the gate and driveway. It's still pretty muddy, but we've got 10 yards of gravel coming soon. Septic trenching should also be happening soon.
Adventure/Doing Stuff: No progress.
