Note to self: Yoga kicks your butt. Still working on breathing and balance.

Last night stayed up a bit late with Master Tim drinking coffee and talking martial arts philosophy, as well as spirituality, and history, in Raleigh. I had trouble sleeping afterwards, as much from the stimulating conversation as well as the coffee.

Woke up in time for yoga at 2 pm, then a good sweat, a long conversation with Tam, then grocery shopping and online banking and laundry. I was going into Durham for dinner, but Katrina and her husband were already cooking dinner, so I just went home and did chores.

Blessings to Turtle and her husband Adam, who's about to have her baby very soon.

My thought was that Basho commented on a helmet that was 500 years old and still being glorified, perpetuating the warrior society you were discussing.
